Special Treats!

Want to do something inexpensive and meaningful for Valentine's Day!?   You don't have to spend a lot to make your family feel special!

Cut out hearts with red or pink construction paper and hang them from curly ribbon from a chandelier.... a year round spiral tree, or just hang them from a card holder or memo board.     Display them so that your family sees them and they look appealing. 

On Each paper heart, write down some things like:
  • Cook your favorite dinner
  • Make your favorite dessert
  • Good for 1 back scratch
  • 1 Free Bed Making
  • You pick the movie to watch
  • Home made pancake breakfast
Your family can choose a paper heart with their favorite thing on it as a special treat for the week or the day.... It's your treat so you get to make the rules but it is a fun way to show your family how much you love them with your time and thoughtfulness!

    I love using old magazines to decorate hand-made Valentines,,,the reds, the flowers, words...
    My sister-in-law saves tickets and little momentos of special occasions through the year to make a special card for my brother each year, sweet!
